Located in Calabasas, California, Maverick has created innovative technology designed for sales organizations, such as ISO’s and ISV’s, looking to monetize payments by reselling our white-labeled payments stack. About the Position:
Reporting to the Associate Director, Boarding, the Quality Assurance Specialist-UW is responsible for monitoring and maintaining all quality assurance (QA) processes, procedures, and daily duties within the Quality Assurance Department. The role supports the Boarding process, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all company systems
- Reviewing approvals to ensure merchant account risk level, BIN fee, and tiers have been approved accurately and compliant.
- Analyzes and investigates approval inaccuracies or non-compliance to align with sponsor banks and/or credit matrix. Escalates most complex accounts to appropriate management level.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures regarding quality assurance.
- Acts as an Underwriting subject Matter expert (SEM) and handles escalated QA underwriting matters.
- Advising on policy and procedure enhancements to ensure quality assurance throughout the department and Company.
- Completing projects assigned by management or executive leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in payment processing.
- 2 years’ experience in data entry focused role.
- 1 year of underwriting experience in the payments industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business or similar preferred.
- Experience working with TSYS and/or PPM and FDR a plus.
- Extensive Merchant Pricing knowledge a plus.
- Works on-site at company’s Calabasas location.
- A remote work schedule will be considered based on location.
